While on our trip we stayed in night in Yosemite with a friend who works in the park.  It was pretty awesome to spend the night in an old homestead ranch house.

Road tripping with a dog is fun.

So I’m road tripping again, this time with a super cute lady and her dog. I’m super lucky to have them along. The photo is from our
Sat night stay at a Cannon beach, beach house.

Hey what are you?

Antarctic turns and I’m sure some Arctic ones too.  It reminds me of a swam of bats sometimes.

Some visitors from the HMS Protector.  This was a fun tour to give.
So I’ve been home for a month, give or take.  Not much going on here, I’m just about through with the paperwork to go back to Palmer again next year.  I’m about to head out to see wild horses in MD.  And I’ve a new to me car, a Subaru Baja.  Looks to be a fun filled summer, and the roads have been perfect for late spring motorcycle rides.

Home

I’ve made it home.  It’s been a long trip, but a great one.  I got to see the woman I love after seven long months away from her.  I’m a pretty lucky guy, and am fortunate enough to have the love and support of such a beautifully amazing woman.

She’s had to head back to her home after a few short days, so now I’m left to adjust to being back.  What that means for me is going through all my mail, and bags and sorting and putting things away.

Also it means going for a walk in the woods.  Nothing helps me get my head back in place like a good walk in the woods.  Though this will be the first time in years that I’ve walked these woods with out my dog Eddie, who passed away while I was gone.  Not sure it will be the same…
